Vecchio and Schafer DDS

I went into Vecchio and Schafer because of the outstanding reviews. And based on my experience, I can say that all the reviews are true. I had a cracked tooth, and they were able to get me in the next day. I saw Dr. Detrich (I hope I spelled his name right) and he was so kind and helpful throughout the whole process of fixing my tooth. He explained each step of the process and was very clear about the options I had for my tooth. I forget the lady's name that helped with the procedure, but she was very kind as well. As someone who usually dreads going to the dentist, this was a very pleasant experience, and I will be back. :)

Dr. Detrich is the best dentist my husband and I have ever been to! I truly can’t say enough great things about him and this entire team. I hadn’t been to the dentist in several years because of severe dental anxiety and past negative experiences, but they completely changed that for me. From my very first visit, everyone was kind, honest, caring, and never once made me feel judged. They took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The dental work I had done was incredibly gentle and virtually painless, which was something I never thought I’d say about a dental visit! Another thing I really appreciate is how quickly they can get you in for appointments when you need them. I’ve been so impressed with my experience that I referred my mom, and she has been extremely happy with her care as well. If you’ve been avoiding the dentist because of anxiety like I was, I highly recommend this practice. They have completely restored my confidence in going to the dentist! My husband and I will continue recommending them to anyone looking for exceptional, compassionate dental care.

I have always personally had a bit of anxiety going to the dentist due to past experiences but this place totally changed my perspective. Super friendly staff, answered all of my questions with easy to understand and direct answers. Was in and out in 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has anxiety when going to the dentist.

I have always gotten great care from the staff. All of my family members have transferred their care to them as well and are also happy with them. Injections are not painful prior to procedures. (Location is very close to LCCC college, next door to Panera.)

I highly recommend this office. I’ve been coming here for the past few years after a negative experience at another nearby dental practice that repeatedly canceled appointments and sent incorrect bills. I’m very glad I found Vecchio & Schafer. The staff is friendly and efficient, and I’ve never had to wait to be seen. They’re always ready at my scheduled appointment time. Both dentists are professional, welcoming, and make visits comfortable. If you’re looking for a dental office that is organized, friendly, and hassle-free, I highly recommend them.
